Ed Nijpels is the new Chairman of the Board of ABP

Ed Nijpels (59) is the new Chairman of the Board of Stichting Pensioenfonds ABP. He succeeds Elco Brinkman, who stepped down on 1 April of this year. Ed Nijpels will take up his duties as Chairman on 1 August 2009.

ABP’s Board is pleased with his arrival: “Ed Nijpels has a wealth of experience in the public sector and possesses the qualities needed to chair a board with equal representation of employers and employees”.
