Operational risk

What is it?
Operational risk is the risk that losses will be incurred as a result of unsatisfactory or failing internal processes, human behaviour and systems or as a result of external factors. These types of risks are inherent to the primary operational processes.

How do we limit this?
These risks are covered through a multitude of measures that supplement one another, such as procedures for change management, access security, test procedures, process descriptions, risk assessments and related monitoring procedures. A subsequent step that ABP has taken leads to the issuance of an ‘in-control statement’ regarding financial and operational management.
