ABP views it as its obligation to achieve the highest possible return for clients. In doing so, we believe that companies with strategies which, in addition to financial return, place a high value on the environment, social factors and good corporate governance will perform better in the long term. In addition, we are aware of the far-reaching influence of our investments and the social responsibility that this implies. The reason for this is the large amount of capital that we invest and our substantial position in the capital market. For this reason, we have chosen to implement a strong ESG policy.
