Receiving pension abroad

How you receive your Pension abroad depends on the country in which your bank account is established:

  • Foreign country category 1
    You live in: Andorra, Belgium, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Finland, France, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Iceland, Italie, Croatia, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Macedonia, Malta, Norway, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Czech Republic, Tunisia, Turkey, UK, Sweden or Switzerland.

    You need a BIC (Bank Identifier Code) and an IBAN (International Bank Account Number) to enable effective payment transactions. Ask your bank (abroad) to provide the necessary information. The costs for payment transactions differ per bank and per country.

    Fill in the form Foreign Payments category 1 (PDF, 116 KB) and send it to ABP to arrange receiving your pension abroad.

  • Foreign country category 2
    You live in a country that does not belong to one of the countries mentioned in categorie 1 (above).

    You need a BIC (Bank Identifier Code) and a Bankcode to enable effective payment transactions. Ask your bank (abroad) to provide the necessary information. You have to pay all costs for the payment transactions to your foreign bank account.

    Fill in the form Foreign Payments category 2 (PDF, 118 KB) and send it to ABP to arrange receiving your pension abroad.
