If you do not live in the Netherlands, there are some practical issues that need to be taken into account. For instance: ABP automatically receives information from the Personal Records Database of municipalities (GBA). If you live abroad, ABP will not receive any notifications.
Please remember to notify ABP of the following changes:
- Marriage or cohabitation
- Divorce or separation
- Change of address
- Change of bank account number
- Death of your partner
- Your relatives should notify ABP in case of your death (sending either a copy of the death certificate or an original funeral card)
